ProTalent are currently working with a multi sited accountancy firm to recruit a qualified and commercially astute accountant, to work as a Senior Manager / Partner Designate in one their Kent offices. This role is aimed at ambitious accountants who really want to grow and develop their portfolio, and skill set, and ultimately work towards Partnership.

You’ll really be ‘managing’ and ‘running’ your portfolio – lots of client contact, building relationships and providing holistic advice to clients. There is a very talented team of accounts Seniors and Semi Seniors to help produce high levels of work, allowing you to be there to really serve and engage with your clients.

The role:

  • Running a mixed portfolio of clients including meeting new clients, initial client contact, billing and WIP
  • Accounts and tax services, business advisory work and any special interests you might have
  • Reviewing work completed by junior members of the team, mentoring and feedback.
  • Acting as first point of contact for clients and building ongoing client rapport, being able to identify other areas where you might be able to assist or serve you clients
  • Working closely with the partners and the team to ensure that clients get the best service and advice
  • Business development and networking

The candidate:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified
