The Senior Accountant role:
- Preparing Accounts, including the accompanying tax computations.
- Joining the Business Services team which provides accountancy, taxation and business support services
- Helping teach, train and develop junior staff members, including reviewing their work and providing feedback.
- Liaising directly with clients to offer support for any queries
- Adhering to deadlines and pre-determined budgets.
- Working closely with managers and other team members.
The successful Senior Accountant candidate:
- Hold ICAEW/ACCA qualification (or be due to qualify within the next 6 – 12 months), or demonstrable 'qualified by experience' to a similar level. (Will consider study support).
- Previous recent UK Practice experience preparing accounts and tax returns for both unincorporated and corporate clients.
- Previous experience with medical sector clients would be advantageous – but is not essential.
- Microsoft Office, Sage and Xero software
- Excellent communication skills: verbal and written.
- Confident and articulate in dealing with a wide range of clients.
- Highly commercial approach
- Enjoy sharing knowledge and developing more junior staff
