Role Overview:

Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies across various sectors
  • Completing business tax and corporation tax computations
  • Preparing VAT returns and generating management accounts
  • Conducting ad hoc projects as required by clients
  • Engaging with clients to gather necessary information and address any queries

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in accounting practice, covering all aspects of taxation, management information, and statutory compliance
  • ACA or ACCA qualification, or part-qualified
  • Experience preparing accounts for owner-managed businesses, including statutory financial reporting
  • Ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with confidence in client interactions via phone, email, and in person
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly Excel
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Initiative in problem-solving and the ability to travel to client locations as needed
