Our client is a dynamic and expanding accountancy practice located in Wymondham, Norfolk, with two other successful offices in the region. They take pride in providing top-tier financial services to their clients. Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join their team as a Semi-Senior Accountant. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, providing a wide array of services to their clients, including statutory accounts preparation, tax returns, and VAT.
**Position Overview:**
The role of Semi-Senior Accountant is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced candidate to play an integral role within our client's team. This position involves working on a diverse range of tasks and client affairs.
**Responsibilities:**
The responsibilities of the Semi-Senior Accountant include, but are not limited to:
- Statutory accounts preparation for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Handling Corporation Tax filings.
- Managing Self Assessment Tax Returns.
- Overseeing VAT filings.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Previous experience in an accountancy practice is preferred.
- ACCA /ACA part qualified or qualified by experience.
- Proficiency in software packages such as Sage, Xero, Excel, and IRIS.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Efficient time management and organizational skills.
