ProTalent are currently working with small, friendly and long standing accountancy firm with offices in the heart of Brighton to recruit a payroll and bookkeeping specialist.
The firm:
• Well established firm of accountants and tax advisors
• Offices in the heart of Brighton
• Offer a range of business and personal tax and accountancy services
• Work with start-up companies, larger more established businesses, individuals and more from a wide range of industries
The role
• RTI Payroll for approximately 100 payroll clients of varying sizes
• Processing weekly, fortnightly, monthly and annual pay runs
• Processing starters and leavers for clients
• SSP/SMP/SPP and commission calculations
• Auto enrolment
• CIS Payments and submissions
• Liaising with clients to ensure all information is collected, collated, processed and submitted correctly
• Month and year end procedures
• Liaising with HMRC and clients for all payroll enquiries
- Xero bookkeeping and VAT Returns for a range of clients
The successful applicant:
• Will have experience working in payroll – ideally within a bureau environment
• Knowledge of MoneySoft Payroll software would be advantageous, as well as Pay Dashboard
Xero Bookkeeping experience
• Will be an excellent multi tasker with exceptional organisational skills
• Able to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines
