Payroll Specialist (Part-Time)

The role:

  • Managing end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients

  • Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls

  • Handling RTI submissions and auto-enrolment duties

  • Managing starters, leavers and statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, SPP

  • Producing payroll reports and working closely with partners and clients

  • Liaising with HMRC and responding to payroll-related queries

 

The successful applicant:

  • Experienced in payroll, ideally within an accountancy practice or bureau

  • Confident managing multiple payrolls and meeting deadlines

  • Familiar with cloud-based payroll software such as BrightPay, Moneysoft, Sage or Xero Payroll

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

  • Friendly, professional and able to build strong client relationships

  • Looking for part-time hours with flexibility in a supportive and stable workplace
