Part-Qualified Accountant / QBE with Audit Experience – High Wycombe
Are you a part-qualified ACCA/ICAEW or QBE accountant with audit experience? We have an exciting opportunity in High Wycombe for a motivated individual to join a dynamic and professional business.
About the Role:
You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:
- Working on numerous audits, growing the client base, and maintaining existing client relationships.
- Supporting Managers and Directors in delivering professional accountancy services.
- Ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time to deliver audits in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Supervising junior staff and preparing audit planning documentation for review.
- Supporting Managers and Directors with a varied general portfolio, including financial reporting, corporate and personal taxation, and tax planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver audit files in accordance with UK GAAP.
- Manage client communication effectively.
- Proactively monitor assignment budgets.
- Prepare Limited company accounts for review by Managers/Directors.
- Prepare Corporation Tax computations for review.
- Prepare partnership and sole trade accounts.
- Prepare personal and partnership tax returns.
- Prepare and review VAT returns.
- Manage accounts preparation.
- Highlight deficiencies in client records or areas of concern to Managers/Directors and recommend improvements.
About You:
- Part-qualified ACCA/ICAEW or QBE with previous audit experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in practice.
- Self-driven and results-oriented with a positive outlook.
- Keen to learn, develop, and support trainees with their training and development.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong IT skills, ideally with Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and CCH, as well as proficiency in Word and Excel.
