The role is a 50:50 split between audit and accounts giving you great well rounded experience – this will not only help you fly through your exams, but it will also give you amazing foundations for your future career within the profession too. You can expect to work on accounts preparation for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships, personal and corporate tax compliance, bookkeeping, and payroll, as well as working on a wide range of audits.
Given the structure of the practice, you’re also guaranteed hands-on experience in tax and advisory services, giving you the opportunity to develop the broad skillset that you’ll need to become an all-round business advisor. With interesting and varied clients across a range of sectors, based predominantly in Yorkshire but with national and international interests, you’ll never be bored and you will keep learning and keep your career progressing!
