A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Bookkeeper to join a dynamic and growing accountancy firm based in central Brighton. The Role
As a Junior Bookkeeper, you’ll work closely with a friendly and experienced team to support a varied client portfolio across a wide range of industries. This role offers hands-on exposure to day-to-day bookkeeping duties and the chance to learn and grow within a collaborative practice setting.
Key responsibilities include:

Processing purchase and sales invoices

Bank reconciliations

Preparing and submitting VAT returns

Maintaining accurate financial records for clients

Supporting senior team members with ad hoc bookkeeping and administrative tasks

Using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
The Ideal Candidate

Some previous experience in a bookkeeping or finance role (practice or industry)

A basic understanding of bookkeeping principles

Working towards or interested in studying AAT (or similar qualification)

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Confident communication and a willingness to learn

A proactive approach and the ability to work well as part of a team
