We are currently working with a fast-growing business in Berwick who are looking to take on an additional team member in their Credit Control Department. Currently turning over £30mil+ per annum, they are looking for an individual with excellent diplomacy skills to join their existing Credit Control team of 5.
Day-to-day, you can expect to liaise with customers in relation to outstanding debt, chase payments, communicate on the phone and via email in relation to queries internally and externally, process payment allocations on the online accounting system and other administration as required.
Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers is key for this role, along with efficiency and a diplomatic manner. Prior experience in accounting, finance or credit control is preferred, or a background in customer service and complaints handling.
