Are you a skilled and proactive accountant ready to take ownership of your own client portfolio? A well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice, is seeking a proactive Client Manager to join their dynamic team. This exciting opportunity allows you to manage a diverse range of clients, deliver high-quality compliance services, and provide valuable advisory support while mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee your own portfolio of clients across various sectors, acting as their trusted advisor and primary contact.
- Prepare and review statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Handle tax compliance, including personal and corporate tax returns.
- Provide advice on VAT matters and oversee VAT compliance.
- Identify opportunities for added-value advisory services to help clients grow and succeed.
- Mentor and support junior staff, ensuring high-quality and efficient work delivery.
About You:
- Qualifications: ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience (QBE).
- Experience: Proven background in managing a portfolio within an accountancy practice.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of accounting, tax compliance, and a basic working knowledge of VAT processes.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, a client-first mindset, and the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Organised: Able to manage deadlines effectively and provide efficient service.
