The Role:


As an Audit Senior, you’ll take ownership of audit engagements from planning through to completion, delivering high-quality work and building trusted relationships with clients. You’ll also review the work of junior team members, providing guidance and mentoring to support their development and maintain high standards across the team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading external audit assignments from initial planning to final reporting

  • Preparing statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP or IFRS

  • Managing client relationships and understanding their business needs

  • Supervising and coaching junior team members

  • Collaborating with colleagues across departments and international affiliates to deliver seamless service

About You:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or finalist), with recent audit experience in a UK accountancy practice

  • Confident leading audits and working directly with clients

  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards (ISA) and UK accounting frameworks

  • Skilled at communicating clearly and building rapport with clients and colleagues

  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage workloads effectively
