Permanent Audit Senior for a Practice Company

Are you an experienced Audit Senior looking for a new challenge? We’re looking for a talented individual to join our client's growing accountancy practice in Luton. They focus on delivering excellent, reliable customer service across our business and need a team member who is capable of working autonomously and is passionate about the highest standards of professional practice. This role sits between junior and senior staff and we are looking for someone who has a passion for developing and mentoring junior staff. You will be able to handle audit assignments from planning to completion, posses excellent interpersonal skills and be adept at problem-solving and providing practical solutions. The role responsibilities include:

  • Organisation, planning and production of audit assignments
  • Ensuring the accuracy of financial reports
  • Ensuring clients’ compliance with relevant rules and regulations
  • Highlighting issues and suggesting possible solutions
  • Working onsite and remotely
  • Mentoring and training junior staff

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the accountancy sector, a strong work ethic and have the resilience to stay focused and handle difficult problems. You must have excellent communication and organisational skills to join our team and will hold an ACA, ACCA, CPA qualification or equivalent. In return, you will receive a competitive salary between £30,000 - £50,000 depending on experience, a great working environment and the opportunity for further career progression within the company.
