The Role:

As an Audit Manager, you’ll report directly to the Head of Division Partner and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong client relationships by providing expert advice and exceeding expectations
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
  • Leading and managing audit assignments from start to finish, ensuring high standards, timely delivery, and client satisfaction
  • Mentoring and developing junior staff, fostering their growth within the firm
  • Supporting the practice in implementing new technologies and continuously improving systems
  • Assisting with business development initiatives, including tenders, proposals, and expanding client portfolios

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will:

  • Be ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 1-2 years PQE
  • Have at least 6 years’ experience working in a UK accountancy practice
  • Be comfortable managing audits and delivering high-quality results
  • Enjoy building lasting client relationships and providing commercial insights
  • Have strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach
  • Be passionate about mentoring and developing junior talent
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of audit and accounting standards with a drive for continuous improvement
