The Role
As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality audits and accounting services to a broad client base. Working closely with managers, partners, and clients, you will provide technical expertise, identify opportunities to add value, and support the growth and development of more junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and complete audit assignments from planning through to completion, both in the office and on client sites.

Prepare and review statutory accounts and tax returns for a range of clients.

Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior team members, ensuring accuracy and professional development.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing proactive business and technical advice.

Ensure all work is completed in line with regulatory requirements and within agreed timescales.

Contribute to the firm’s business development activities and support growth initiatives where appropriate.
About You

Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist).

Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice with exposure to both audit and accounts.

Skills: Strong technical knowledge, good working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks), and excellent attention to detail.

Attributes: A confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues alike, while managing workloads and deadlines.
