Accounts Senior – Accountancy Practice
A friendly and growing independent accountancy practice is looking to recruit an Accounts Senior to join its supportive and collaborative team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced practice accountant who enjoys working closely with clients and taking ownership of accounts work across a varied portfolio.
The firm provides accounting, tax and advisory services to a wide range of owner-managed businesses and individuals. As part of a close-knit team, you’ll have the chance to develop strong client relationships while delivering high-quality work and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
The role
• Preparation of statutory accounts for a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a main point of contact
• Preparation of management accounts where required
• Assisting with corporation tax computations and submissions
• Supporting senior staff and partners with client queries and advisory work
• Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines
About you
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice
• Strong background in accounts preparation
• Comfortable communicating directly with clients
• ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Able to manage workloads and meet deadlines effectively
