The Role
As Accounts Senior, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting and business advisory services. You will work closely with Managers and Partners while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.
Key responsibilities include:

Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships

Preparation of management accounts and financial reports
-
Corporation tax computations and returns
-
Supporting with personal tax where required
-
Reviewing work prepared by junior staff
-
Liaising directly with clients, responding to queries and providing practical advice

Assisting with client onboarding and process improvements
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

Be ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (QBE also considered)

Have recent experience working within UK accountancy practice

Demonstrate strong knowledge of FRS102 and UK GAAP
-
Be confident managing their own workload and client relationships
-
Have excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
-
Experience with cloud software such as Xero, QuickBooks or similar would be advantageous
