Position: Accounts & Audit Senior
Location: Brighton
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Provide expert advice and guidance on accounting and tax matters to clients
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Assist with the training and development of junior staff members
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering exceptional client service
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry trends
Requirements:
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, AAT) or in the final stages of obtaining one
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accountancy firm
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
