You'll report directly to the Senior Manager and take ownership of accounts production across a varied portfolio of sole traders and partnerships, while being a key point of contact for clients. What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing accounts for sole traders and partnerships
  • Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and deliver a responsive, professional service
  • Managing your workload across multiple clients and consistently meeting deadlines
  • Supporting with bookkeeping and payroll where required
  • Upholding the high standards expected within a growing, reputable group practice

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' practical experience within an accountancy practice
  • At least AAT qualified (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accountancy software, IRIS experience is a real advantage
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to juggle priorities effectively
  • Confident communicator and comfortable dealing with clients directly, in writing and face-to-face
  • Professional and discreet when handling sensitive client information
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs at grade A–C (or equivalent), including Maths and English
  • Payroll experience is a bonus, but not essential
