A well-regarded chartered firm in East Sussex is looking for an Accounts Manager to take ownership of a varied client base and lead from the front. This is a role with real autonomy, you will manage relationships, oversee the work, and be trusted to make the call rather than wait for one.
The client base is broad and interesting, from established SMEs and family businesses through to charities and not-for-profits. The team is friendly and down to earth, with hybrid working and plenty of onsite parking.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing your own portfolio as the main point of contact
- Reviewing accounts and tax work prepared by the team
- Building and growing long-term client relationships
- Mentoring and developing junior and qualified staff
- Spotting advisory and planning opportunities for clients
