An established independent accountancy firm in West Sussex is seeking an experienced practice accountant to join its small office team. This is a hands-on role covering accounts prep, VAT, MTD work and tax computations for a loyal and varied client base.

You’ll be joining a supportive, relaxed environment with lovely people, easy parking and a low-stress culture - ideal for someone who enjoys the practical side of accountancy practice and wants to be part of a dependable team.

You’ll need:

• UK accountancy practice experience
• Strong accounts prep and VAT knowledge
• Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and ideally IRIS
• A proactive, team-focused approach

What’s on offer:

• £40,000 - £45,000

• Smart casual office
• Full-time hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm
• Office-based role in West Sussex
