Job Title: Accountant / Accounts Senior

We are working with a long-established and well-respected firm based in East Sussex who are seeking an experienced and proactive Accountant / Accounts Senior to join their friendly and professional team. Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of year-end accounts for a wide range of clients, including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.

Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns.

Reviewing VAT returns and providing client support on bookkeeping queries.

Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Supporting junior team members and assisting with their development.

Liaising with HMRC and other third parties on behalf of clients.
About You:

ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified, or qualified by experience.

Strong experience in accounts preparation and tax work within a practice environment.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented approach.

Confident using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or similar.
